Heaven Alvarado is a freshman music education major from Mississippi State University, with concentrations in Percussion and Voice. Originally from Pelahatchie MS, Heaven has most recently graduated from the Mississippi School for Math and Science. Music and its role in culture and history are two of Heaven’s greatest passions, and with her degree she hopes to make a positive impact on students and their ability to shape our future.

I am Bikal Ghimire, an undergraduate student from Nepal pursuing mechanical engineering at Mississippi State University. I wrote The Weight of a Photograph as part of my English research project, where I aim to express not only my personal emotions but also the universal feelings that everyone experiences while gazing at a photograph that holds deep meaning for them.

I am a junior Animal and Dairy Science major with a pre-vet concentration. I hope to one day get into veterinary school and become a small animal veterinarian. While my future career aspirations aren't writing-focused, I have always had a love for writing and stories in all kinds of media.
